icon tutorial 16 // colour fixer

Sorry I haven't posted in so long, my internet has been down due to some serious hotlinking.

This is just a really short tutorial, it's for fixing up images that are really yellow/orange.
Translatable, I used PSP for it.

Really, theres only one step.

1) Open up your ready base. I suggest that you Screen it if it's dark, screening it can also help reduce the yellowness.

2) New Color Balance Layer.

Midtones: -100 | -21 | 26
Shadows: -26 | -20 | 19
Highlights: 0 | 6 | 4

Wow, how easy was that??
I'll consider writing a fixer-upper tutorial for bluey images.

TIP: If you don't want the blue shadows, add a second Color Balance layer and in Shadows, add more red and magenta.

don't forget: change around amounts to suit your image,
and comments are ♥.

Do you know a good way to get rid of pictures that are really red, like pictures from concerts?
I've tried playing around with things, but I can't seem to find a super good way to reduce the red -ness. :)
Got a good way, by chance?

try this, it seemed to work pretty well for me--

Color Balance Layer

Midtones: -100 | +55 | +100
Shadows: -100 | 0 | -10
Highlights: -100 | -21 | 0

its quite blue, can you work from there on your own?
